Olympus Board Shop opened in 1998. It was started by a local named Jeremy Godo Kiss who was born and raised in the South Bay. While skateboarding became an early passion for him, the need for more speed, higher air, and the simple love of being in the outdoors drew him to the sport of snowboarding. In the spring of 1988, one year before Mammoth Mountain allowed snowboarding, he and two high school buddies rented snowboards at June Mountain for the first time. That was all it took.
While the shop’s roots lie in skateboarding and snowboarding, we have evolved to offer gear for surfing, stand up paddling, and kayaking. Who knows WELCOME TO
